Adobe InDesign is one of the programmes included in the Adobe Creative Suite (CS) of applications, although it can also be purchased as a stand-alone application. Adobe  Indesign CS is a Desktop Publishing programme, that is used for creating typeset quality documents suitable for output to print-based media. The current version, as of May 2011, is Adobe InDesign CS5.5.

This Adobe InDesign course is aimed at new users who have little or no previous experience of desktop publishing and who wish to learn Indesign. Starting from first principles, delegates will be led through the procedures for creating new documents and modifying existing ones, and will consolidate their knowledge by means of a series of carefully constructed exercises at each stage of the Indesign course. To see examples of the type of documents you are likely to create with InDesign during the course Click here. The course may also be suitable for users of QuarkXPress or Adobe PageMaker wishing to upgrade their skills to Adobe InDesign.

At the end of the Indesign course, delegates should feel confident and enthusiastic about using Adobe InDesign and will learn how to create a range of simple but well laid-out documents including short, design-intensive publications such as flyers, leaflets and newsletters, through to longer single chapter books, catalogues and brochures.

The content of this Adobe InDesign training course can also be tailored to your own requirements, and run on your own premises. Contact us for more details.
